Minimum Baseline Security Standards (MBSS) validation, Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scans, validation, Penetration Testing (PT) of systems that are about to go live

Responsibilities

  • Configure Tenable.sc and conduct MBSS and VA scans. 
  • Modify the MBSS scan script as necessary, to localize as per Ncell’s needs 
  • Conduct PT on applications/solutions that are about to go live and provide solutions to close the identified vulnerabilities 
  • Conduct validation of MBSS controls 
  • Check and ensure compliance of assets with InfoSec requirements

Qualifications/Experiences

  • Students who are at least enrolled in final year/semester of Master’s OR Bachelor in computer engineering/ Computer Application/ Information Technology OR Individuals who have cleared Professional degree in the relevant subject within past 2 years. 
  • Knowledge of vulnerabilities of OS, database, applications, CVSS scores 
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools
  • knowledge to conduct penetration testing of applications
  • Knowledge of Python scripting language

Requirements

  • Excellent personal and professional record in college or previous employment. 
  • Should have relevant functional knowledge and skillsets 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and relevant functional tools and applications 
  • Should be able to work in a collaborative and team-based environment 
  • Should be creative and able to explore various subject matters 
  • Should be proficient in English and Nepali – both written and oral 
  • Should have an interest in pursuing a career in Cyber Security 
  • Should have knowledge of networks, databases, and operating systems

Key Deliverables

  • MBSS reports, VA reports and PT reports 
  • Assets with required InfoSec controls in place (EDR/SIEM/Scanning)
